Venue

Katalin Kovács National Kayak-Canoe Academy

The Katalin Kovács National Kayak-Canoe Academy in Sukoró is a state-of-the-art sports complex designed to serve athletes at every stage of their development. Its facilities are tailored not only for canoeing and rowing but also for a wide range of training and recreational needs.

At the heart of the Academy lies the kayak-canoe and rowing competition course, complete with starting machines and a modern finish tower, alongside a counter-current pool and a dedicated training centre with learning pool.

The venue also offers extensive opportunities for multi-sport preparation: outdoor fields for soccer, basketball, tennis, running, teqball and street workout, a 50-meter FINA-standard swimming pool, a teaching pool with wellness area, and a sports hall for basketball, soccer, volleyball, and squash. Complementing these are gyms, recreation rooms, and a boulder climbing wall.

With high-altitude training camp accommodation, a sports diagnostic centre, conference rooms, and catering options including a restaurant and buffet, the Academy provides a complete environment for performance, education, and recovery.

This unique combination makes the Academy not just a competition venue, but a true centre of excellence for athletes, students, and the international sporting community.
