Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony on 16 August begins with a musical performance and greetings to the participants and guests. This is followed by a parade of national flags, official speeches, and the hoisting of the host nation’s flag during its anthem. The championship is then formally declared open by the FISU representative, accompanied by the federation anthem and flag raising. The ceremony concludes with cultural performances and a musical finale as the flags leave the stage.

Medal Ceremonies

The medal award ceremonies will take place on the podium set up in front of the grandstand, in accordance with FISU protocol regulations. They will be scheduled in line with the competition programme, mostly in grouped blocks.

Closing Ceremony & Closing Party

The closing ceremony will be held in front of the grandstand, in line with the minimum protocol requirements. A closing party is not planned at this stage.
